Narrated Qatadah:
From Anas: "The Prophet (ﷺ) prohibited that a man should drink while standing." (Qatadah said:) So it was said: "And eating ?" He (Anas) said: "That is worse."

Modern science gives several health reasons why drinking water while sitting can be beneficial.
When you drink water while sitting, the nutrients reach the brain and boost its activity. If you drink water while standing, it risks your lungs and heart.
Alhamdulillah, we are proud to be Muslim, as our Prophet Muhammad PBUH taught us the same 1400 years ago. Now science repeats his theory. Subhan Allah
Islam emphasizes purity and cleanliness. The Prophet ﷺ encouraged habits that maintain cleanliness and protect from impurity.
Today, science supports this guidance: Standing while urinating can cause microscopic splashes. These droplets may spread bacteria and impurities.
Sitting helps reduce splash-back and may promote better bladder emptying.
Over 1,400 years ago, the Prophet ﷺ forbade striking the face.
Today, science shows why:
the face contains the brain, eyes, major nerves, and vital blood vessels.
A single blow can cause concussions, fractures, vision loss, and long-term damage.
The primary reason is that Allah commanded it through our Prophet (peace be upon him). As believers, we hear and obey, because obedience itself is an act of worship.
In Islam, nothing is declared haram without wisdom and purpose. More than 1,400 years ago, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ prohibited men from wearing gold.
Some modern studies suggest a possible correlation between certain forms of heavy metal exposure, including gold particles, and reduced sperm motility.
